Singapore National Day

This was what happened on Singapore National Day....

It was supposed to be my long holiday as I'd long booked my leave on Friday. Ideally I could actually have 4 days rest. But things always turned against my wish. I received a list of task to be accomplished and thus, my holiday's gone.

Sad enough... Worked the stupid consolidation at home. Not so difficult but 烦. I very hate first year audit engagement.

In the evening, somebody called me....

T: 小姐,你寂寞吗?later dinner want?
Me: Halo... I haven't tied my deferred tax yet.. help me do that part lor.
T: 带你的laptop 出来,我们帮你做。还有,你要请我们吃什么哈??
Me: 为什么我得请你们吃勒??
T: Eh... you've got your bonus leh.... so must buy us meal...
Me: Haloooo... u don't get bonus??? I got pro-rated, I don't get much lor!
T: Don't niao, bring your laptop and bring your debit card ha!

I knew when these 2 guys called me sure for something one. They'd been plotting the whole afternoon how to 敲诈 me. Then I thought I sure cannot escape this round. (Basically that's how we get along... 敲诈来,敲诈去). So, in the evening, I went here for dinner........

Surprisingly I had just realised I'm staying so close to Vivo. Just one way down the road only. No wonder Kim Tian claimed to be the most expensive HDB area.

As I said.... they started their usual conversation... and I think they know me quite well, so they know how to handle me and how to make me pay for the bill. Actually I'm those soft-hearted type and I had decided to buy the meal that kind. In the end, we went for Japanese food as they suggested. Basically I also think Sushi Tei not bad. I even saw a mediacorp star (forgot the name) there last round I went there.

It was such a long queue.... faint.... When come to food, very hardly we don't queue in Singapore.... Being boh liao... Mr A showed me this, as their 战利品 at Chinatown this afternoon. Both of them bought. Can guess what it is?

Dang Dang Dang Dang Dang.........

I knew it when he showed me that... cos I thought of the fine of SGD200 Mr T got few days ago. He brought in unsealed cigarette from JB and when he was spotted by a "dearest officer" when he unsealed it. Somemore he unsealed it somewhere at Bugis... gosh... so lucky. So these 2 brothers came out with the idea of "repackaging" their cigarette. To avoid unecessary fine.

When come to Japanese food, this Mr A would order expensive fish at all times. And everytime when he brought me to Japanese restaurant he would be the one who ended up buying the meal because of his expensive fish. Haha. So this time round, of cos he wouldn't let me off as he claimed that he had treated me many rounds on shashimi. Again... he ordered this sword fish which will normally cost RM60 for 5 pieces.

This plate consist 3 different kinds of fish. They ordered 2 plates. Very geng. Nice la I know.. but it's pricey!

Then I started to act blur when come to settle bill. I showed them my purse, which only has SGD17 in it. Haha. Then I started to say how poor I was... I also started to mention their brand new car and house. To somebody who dare to brag about his wedding band should buy the meal. Then they started to count my cashflow... wondering why I would end up having only SGD17 with me and keep saying poor. This trick really worked... so in the end, they both forked out money to pay for the meal. Ha.. ha..

But I was feeling guilty over this... cos I don't quite like taking advantage over ppl. So I offered to have dessert or coffee at this high class cafe. To me it's high class, coffee as little as this cost SGD6.50, faint. Cup's big only.

I also don't know what's so special about this ice-cream... just a very small cup cost dunno how much. I merely remembered 3 for SGD10.50 (promotional price). The dessert here cost as much as its main course.

One funny thing was, this Mr A was very worried that he'd need to fork out money for the dessert again. Knowingly I had only SGD17 with me, he started to calculate how much they'd need to fork out in the case the cafe doesn't accept Nets. Haha... What's funny in the end was, I offered to buy the bill but money was advanced from Mr T. Obviously SGD17 was not enough for this dessert. It's like 我请客,你出钱。Haha.

After this dessert.... Mr A suggested to go for movie. When come to buy ticket, these 2 guys were unwilling to queue up for the ticket as they'd forked out enough of money today. Haha.. but one of them must pay first lor.... since I had only SGD17. Haha. The victim was Mr A.... who paid for the movie..

"Rush Hour 3" - A lousy movie.. no story line at all. For those who intend to watch, forget about it, don't waste your money.

Cos we're staying near to each other so we shared cab.... don't ask me who paid for the taxi fare in the end. haha... obviously not me..

I merely find the whole incident super funny... 2 fellow plotted the whole afternoon while doing their foot massage but ended up paying for everything and I didn't spend a single cents (ohh ya... the 50 dollar note I've got to pay Mr T back). They both were so disappointed cos they failed their plan. You guys deserved it. haha.
